The Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, is a stunning architectural marvel constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Its distinctive facade resembles a honeycomb adorned with 953 intricately designed windows, or "jharokhas," which allowed royal ladies to observe the city below while maintaining their privacy. The pink sandstone used in its construction adds charm and lends Jaipur the nickname "Pink City." The Hawa Mahal promises an unforgettable experience, transporting you back to an era of royal grandeur and leaving you with a deeper appreciation for Jaipur's rich heritage and culture.
